13. Papa's Train I went into my Papa's garage, And there to my surprise, Was a logging town with a fast-moving train, Right before my eyes. A little brass engine pulling logs, Through tunnels and over a bridge, The steam engine sound is heard as the train Chugs up a steep steep ridge. Chorus (And Papa built a train for me to have when I come to play, With little cars and a conductor's watch, to keep the time of day, Papa built a train for me and I feel like its all mine, And that's what I thought when I saw it for the very first time.) Now I stood on a stool cause I could hardly reach the controls, But Papa held me up and now I can make the train roll. The train goes around and around through the tunnels and back, Around and around it goes clickity clack. Chorus The little town has a main street with little shops, There's a firehouse, with a fire engine, a flashing light on top. The engine runs past the stream with the logs flowing down, And that's what I see when I look at Papa's logging town. Chorus
