6. Loose Tooth
Chorus
( I have a loose tooth, a very loose tooth,
And it wiggles, and it jiggles,
But it won't fall out,
Should I pull it, or twist it,
Or leave it alone,
Lets get the dentist on the phone.)
I'm afraid of the space that's left when its out,
The air will go through, a bug might fly in my mouth.
And maybe I won't smile, with my tooth out what a sight.
I'll look like a pumpkin on Halloween night.
And can I eat food like apples, or food like cake,
If I can only eat ice cream, how much can I take?
And will I whistle when I talk without my front tooth?
Will somebody please just tell me the truth.
Chorus
Well the truth is the tooth will fall out on its own,
And there's really no need for the dentist on the phone.
And it won't hurt, and a new one will grow in its place.
And there won't be a change that you see on your face.
And a bug won't fly into your mouth when you bite.
And you won't look like a pumpkin on Halloween night.
And you can eat anything your Mom gives you to eat.
Even though you are missing your two front teeth.
But the really good news is when you go to sleep,
The tooth goes under your pillow for the fairy to keep.
And then in its place she will leaver a surprise,
That you'll see in the morning as soon as you rise.
